View from the Ground és el desè àlbum d’estudi del duo nord-americà de folk rock America, publicat per Capitol Records el juliol de 1982.

Aquest àlbum va suposar la tornada d'un grup que generalment s'havia anul·lat des de la sortida de Dan Peek cinc anys abans. Va ser un èxit modest als Estats Units, arribant al número 41 de la llista d'àlbums de Billboard, i va produir dos senzills èxits: "You Can Do Magic" va arribar al número vuit de la llista de singles de Billboard i al número cinc de la llista de contemporani per a adults, i "Right Before Your Eyes (també conegut popularment com "Rudolph Valentino") va assolir els 45 punts a la llista de singles de Billboard i 16 a la llista de contemporani per a adults. "You Can Do Magic" va passar més temps a les llistes (20 setmanes) que qualsevol altre single d'Amèrica..
