Britt Woodman (4 de juny de 1920 - 13 d'octubre de 2000) va ser un trombonista de jazz estatunidenc.

Woodman va ser amic de la infància de Charles Mingus, però primer va treballar amb Phil Moore i Les Hite. Després del servei en la Segona Guerra Mundial, va tocar amb Boyd Raeburn abans d'unir-se a Lionel Hampton en 1946. Durant la dècada de 1950 va treballar amb Ellington. Com a membre de la banda de Ellington se li pot escoltar en Such Sweet Thunder (1957), Ella Fitzgerald Sings the Duke Ellington Song Book (també de 1957), Black, Brown, and Beix (1958) i Ellington Indigos (1958).

En 1960 va deixar Ellington per a treballar en una orquestra de fossat. Posteriorment va col·laborar amb Mingus i se li pot escoltar en l'àlbum Mingus Mingus Mingus Mingus Mingus (1963). En la dècada de 1970, va dirigir el seu propi octet i va col·laborar amb la pianista Toshiko Akiyoshi. En 1989, va formar part de l'equip de l'àlbum Epitaph, dedicat a la música inèdita de Charles Mingus.

Va morir en Hawthorne, Califòrnia, a l'edat de 80 anys, després d'haver sofert greus problemes respiratoris.
